Good morning,
I direct a winter program called “Project Challenge” which is offered for area high school students in grades 9-12. The program offers five-week courses on Saturday mornings from 9 AM to 12 PM which will be held on January 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15 (snow date of February 22).
This program provides an opportunity for high school students to participate in classes they can’t necessarily find at their high school, explore their future interests and develop skills. I am looking for at least 8-9 faculty/staff who may be interested in teaching a course. The remuneration is $1500 for the five Saturday mornings with the caveat that 10 or more students enroll for each specific class.
For Clarkson, it would be a wonderful opportunity to showcase our Schools and Signature Programs to prospective students. Information on the program and past course offerings are found at https://www.clarkson.edu/admissions-aid/clarkson-school/project-challenge
For more information or if you are interested in teaching a course, please contact Brenda Kozsan, Interim Head of The Clarkson School and Director of Project Challenge at bkozsan@clarkson.edu. Thank you!
