Assistant Professor in Software Engineering- Tenure Track (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level.  Candidates are sought who have research expertise that aligns with departmental strengths in software engineering. Our focus areas include software systems architecture and design, software testing and quality assurance, secure software development, software maintenance and evolution, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Minimum qualifications:  PhD in Software Engineering or related discipline.

Range: $110,000- $118,000 salary based on experience

Assistant Professor Physical Therapy (Clinical-Track) (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The Physical Therapy Department in the Lewis School of Health Sciences at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for a full-time core faculty position as an Assistant Professor (clinical-track) physical therapy instructor. This appointment is for a full-time, 10-month position, starting in June 2025. The position is not tenurable, but includes a promotion path to Associate Professor and Professor ranks.

Minimum qualifications: Possess a DPT degree and an APTA board certified clinical specialization and some clinical experience. Applicants without an APTA board certified clinical specialization but plans to do so will be considered.  Be eligible for New York state PT licensure. Other professional licensures/academic degrees may be eligible for a DPT core faculty position.

Range: $80,000- $84,000 based on experience

Assistant Professor of Communication-Teaching Track (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: Teaching Track Assistant Professor of Communication, specialization open. We are particularly interested in digital forms of communication and environmental communication.

Minimum qualifications: PhD in Rhet/Comp or related field by Sept 1, 2025 and evidence of teaching excellence.

Range: $60,000- $63,000 based on experience
