Happy New Year!
This semester, on January 25th, the Office of Student Life is hosting a wintertime student event where Residence Life (hi that’s me!) will be hosting a hot chocolate station. Instead of getting disposable mugs, we are planning to give out gently used mugs (cleaned) to students to add some fun unique mugs for them to take home and be more sustainable. This event was a huge success last year, thank you to everyone who contributed.
I am reaching out because if you are like me, you have probably received multiple mugs over the year or bought some that are sitting at the back of your cupboard, or up on a high shelf you seldom and or never use. I am hoping staff may be willing to re-home those less-loved mugs to our students, through the hot coco event.
If you are interested in rehoming some of your mugs please bring them to me by January 22nd, or let me know and I will come pick them up from your office and say hello!
