Updated Social Media Policy for Clarkson University Accounts

The Clarkson University Marketing team has updated the University’s social media policy and received approval from Administrative Council and the President. The policy is now in effect for all social media pages/accounts run by employees of Clarkson. 

The updated Social Media Policy can be found on the Marketing Intranet Page. It is also linked here for convenience.  

A regularly-updated Procedures and Best Practices Guide can be found here. It is also linked from within the Social Media Policy.

The Marketing team will be assessing social media accounts on a regular basis to ensure they align with the policy. If you are operating a Clarkson University social media account and have not already registered the account’s information with the Marketing team, please fill out this form as soon as possible. 

Training sessions will be offered to help social media account managers understand and follow the policy, as well as use best practices. Upcoming training sessions will be held on Feb. 20, March 27, and April 7. More information about these sessions will be shared in the near future.
