Teachers: The Office of Information Technology (OIT) announces the following plans to upgrade Moodle from 4.1 to 4.5.

Moodle 4.5 will go live in May 2025. The upgrade will be applied sitewide at that time which will have an impact on all members of the Moodle community including students, teachers, staff and more. The new version will be live as regular Summer term courses begin on May 19, 2025. Students and teachers in the Spring Quarter 2025 term will experience the updates during their sixth week of class in the term. All other open courses such as non catalog courses, as well as those in the clarkson.learn.edu platform, will also experience the update.
All courses will update to the new version simultaneously. Course copies from prior terms can be imported. Additional information will be available in the coming weeks. Read below for ways to stay informed and to get involved.
