Accounts Payable Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Coordinator shall maintain the integrity of the payables process using University policies and operating procedures and shall comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations. The Coordinator is responsible for all phases of payables activities, which include matching invoices to delivery records and purchase orders, entering vouchers and payment requests, verification and set up of vendors, previewing bi-weekly check run for accuracy and processing forms 1099. The Coordinator will work with the Accounts Payable Manager to maximize cash efficiency and provide high-level customer service to internal and external constituents. The Coordinator will work closely with other teams within the Controller’s Office and throughout the University to lead timely and efficient processing of vendor transactions.
Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree from accredited College or University in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field of study, 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. In Lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Range: $16.50- $17.17 salary based on experience

Program Manager (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary Guidelines: The incumbent provides strategic oversight, operational leadership, and decision-making authority across a range of initiatives at the Shipley Center for Innovation. Key responsibilities include managing the North Country Incubator (NCI), the New York State Innovation Hot Spot program (Hot Spot), and the National Science Foundation I-Corps program (I-Corps). The role also involves leading marketing and outreach efforts, coordinating events, and delivering administrative support to advance the Center’s mission.

Position Summary Guidelines: The Computer Science Department at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Campus Safety and Security Officer (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for providing campus safety services to the university community, which includes enforcing university regulations, vehicle and traffic laws, local, state and federal laws. Providing emergency response on campus and protecting life and property within the Clarkson community. In addition, the Campus Safety Officer/ Staff engage in outreach and communication efforts to women and/or underrepresented student groups on campus around issues of alcohol consumption, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment and bias-related conduct.
Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma required. Must be willing to get certified by the State of New York as a Security Guard (8 Hour Pre- Assignment Course for Security Guards) within 30 days of hire. Certified in CPR, AED and First Aid. New York State driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the University.
Range: $16.00- $17.50 based on experience

Building and Grounds Team Lead (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, provides oversight, quality control and consultancy to the office of facilities concerning the day-to-day custodial services and grounds services on campus. Work with the Property Lease Management Committee to manage Clarkson’s rental property portfolio, including optimizing occupancy, ensuring properties are maintained and rent is collected, negotiating lease agreements, etc. The property portfolio includes the JR Westin Building, The Quarry, Old Main, Lewis House, and others. Ensures a clean and safe environment for students and staff and compliance with applicable college policies, standards and regulatory agency codes. Coordinates immediate Facilities Management Services (custodial) and campus response to issues or events affecting campus operations.
Minimum qualifications: Associates degree or work experience equivalent. Minimum of five years of experience in an Educational Facilities Supervisory role.
Range: $78,000- $90,000 based on experience

Financial Aid Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Financial Aid Coordinator provides financial aid support for undergraduate students by providing information, advice and counsel to students, parents and staff regarding financial aid regulations and programs, including how aid impacts invoices. The position oversees the financial aid packaging for special groups, administers restricted scholarships, administers the federal work-study program, and manages eligibility assessments for special circumstances and is responsible for the overall management of the financial aid section of the website.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field. 2 years of experience in financial aid or related field
