Dear Clarkson Students:
We hope you are all looking forward to your well-deserved Spring Break! We are asking anyone who plans to leave a vehicle on campus for the break to park in the rear Walker Center lot. Before you leave, please also:
- Double-check that all windows are rolled up, doors are locked, and no valuables have been left in the vehicle.
- Do a walk-around (good) or take pictures (better) of your vehicle before leaving to document your vehicle’s condition when you left it.
- Upon picking up your vehicle after your return, do another walk-around for any new damages.
- If you notice any new damage to your vehicle, call Campus Safety and Security (315-268-6666) and/or the Potsdam Police Department (315-265-2121) as soon as possible and before moving your vehicle. Document the damage with photos.
If traveling, here are some extra Spring Break safety tips from the Virginia Tech Police Department as well.
We wish you all a safe, fun, refreshing Spring Break! Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. We are here to help 24/7/365!
Thank you,
Clarkson Campus Safety and Security Team
