Dear Students,
This email contains information for those who are looking to reside in campus housing for the summer who are not part of a designated program. These would be students working in the area, doing individual research, taking summer classes etc…Summer housing will be in the Townhouse Apartments, where all students will have randomly assigned roommates from May 25 – August 1. There is no housing available round these dates.
Housing Details:
Each apartment includes:
- Bedrooms furnished with beds, desks, desk chairs, closets, and dressers
- A shared living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom
- Important: To live in the apartment, you must complete fire safety training upon arrival
Students must bring their own:
- Linens for twin XL bed
- Fan or AC units are allowed but no in-window units will be permitted
- Microwave, kitchen/cooking supplies
- Toiletries and basic necessities
Housing Dates & Rates:
- Available: May 25 – August 1
- Weekly Rate: $179.50
- 5-Week Rate: $897.60
- 10-Week Rate: $1,795
Mail & Dining Information:
Mail: Delivered to your campus mailbox in the lower level of the Student Center. You must notify the mailroom of your summer presence.
Dining: A dining package is included in summer housing, providing lunch five days per week during times which dining is available. There is no opt-out option, and dining hours and locations may vary. Updates will be emailed and posted. Meals can be purchased separately with cash, Visa, or MasterCard.
Sign Up for Summer Housing
To sign up for summer housing, visit Knight Life, sign in using your Clarkson login, navigate to the Residence Life page, and find Summer Housing under the Forms section.
Additional Notes:
- No overnight guests are allowed during the summer.
- Room, board, and other fees will be billed to your student account through Student Achievement Services unless a professor or department is confirmed to cover the cost
