Help Wanted for Student Business Case Research

Are you curious about owning an EV? Do you know someone who’s in the market for a new vehicle? Ethan Flamand is a student looking for volunteers to hold a conversation containing questions about a consulting business model that aims to guide potential EV buyers through the complex world of this new technology.

The image starts with a message at the top saying “Participants needed”. The center of the image contains the written questions: “Do you want to help a student research project? Are you curious about EV ownership?” followed by the call-to-action message: “If you answered yes to either of those, reach out using the contact information provided in the announcement. Your input is greatly appreciated!” At the bottom is an image of a Ford F-150 Lightning accompanied by a text box stating “Your participation helps me prepare for the Sustainability & Green Living Day Fair this weekend!”, along with Ethan Flamand’s contact information.

With most working professionals having a demanding schedule, it is often the case that there is just too much information to sift through for EV-curious first-time buyers to identify an electric vehicle that suits their needs.

The business is currently in a validation phase, where more consumer-side information is necessary to confirm the viability of the intended business model. Feedback and recommendations are the primary goal of the conversation. Those interested should send an email to Ethan at flamanet@clarkson.edu.

**The research case is for a business intending to help clients make the best purchase decision for their needs. Even those who are skeptical or have reservations about electric vehicles are welcome to participate.**
