Consolazio is also an active member of Clarkson’s Honors Program, which offers enriched academic opportunities, research mentorship, and leadership development to top-performing students.

This award will provide Consolazio with a stipend to support 10 weeks of immersive research experience in the semiconductor industry, underscoring the Clarkson School of Engineering’s commitment to fostering the next generation of innovators.

A standout student with a perfect 4.0 GPA, Consolazio has combined his mechanical engineering studies with a passion for electrical engineering. Through personal projects and academic work—including designing circuits using logic gates, programming microcontrollers, and leading robotics manufacturing teams—he has developed strong technical skills in electronics and circuit design.

“I’ve always enjoyed working with circuits and hands-on projects. The semiconductor industry is vital to improving technology, and I’m eager to be part of it,” Consolazio shared.

His involvement in the Clarkson Formula Electric Student Projects for Engineering Experience and Design (SPEED) team and leadership in high school robotics demonstrate his drive to bring practical engineering solutions to life.

Looking forward, Consolazio plans to apply his research experience toward a career in semiconductor manufacturing. His goals include earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business, securing a role in the semiconductor sector, and eventually advancing into management positions after obtaining an MBA.

“The need for semiconductors will increase dramatically in the coming years, and I want to help meet that demand,” Consolazio noted.

Clarkson University is proud to support his ambitions and recognizes his Micron Scholarship as an important step toward his future contributions to the industry.
