Director of Alumni Relations (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: Provide leadership and strategic planning for the Alumni Relations Office. Under the direction of the Associate Vice President, the Director of Alumni Relations will provide a comprehensive program of activities for Clarkson alumni that will engage them as life-long partners in the institution. Direct and manage the alumni relations’ staff in crafting and implementing a strategic effort on the engagement of Clarkson alumni. This should include objective measures of understanding the “pulse” of the alumni base, means to address their needs, and measurements of success.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Higher Education Administration or a related field. 5 years of Experience in the areas of institutional advancement, event planning, volunteer management or related fields such as marketing, management or communications.
Range: $67,800- $ 74,825 based on experience

Accounts Payable Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Coordinator shall maintain the integrity of the payables process using University policies and operating procedures and shall comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations. The Coordinator is responsible for all phases of payables activities, which include matching invoices to delivery records and purchase orders, entering vouchers and payment requests, verification and set up of vendors, previewing bi-weekly check run for accuracy and processing forms 1099. The Coordinator will work with the Accounts Payable Manager to maximize cash efficiency and provide high-level customer service to internal and external constituents. The Coordinator will work closely with other teams within the Controller’s Office and throughout the University to lead timely and efficient processing of vendor transactions.
Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree from accredited College or University in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field of study, 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. In Lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Range: $18.00- $20.00 salary based on experience

Position Summary: This is an exempt position reporting to the Director of Research Operations. This position is responsible for sponsored research compliance and related communications for the department. A successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask. Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare, and evaluate various courses of action and have the ability to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. This position is responsible for sponsored research compliance and related communications for the department.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, law and/or a technical field. Minimum two (2) years’ Higher Education experience. 4-5 year’s experience in Higher Education specific to Sponsored Research may be substituted for education requirement.
Range: $62,000- $ 72,000 based on experience

Instructional Designer I (Temporary) (REMOTE)
Position Summary: This position will be dedicated to microcredential development divided between three projects: Advancing the Industry with Microcredentials (AIM) Grant, RECI-CODES Grant, Construction Engineering Management Microcredentials. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be an option subject to Clarkson University rules, regulations, and policies. Your primary residence must in one of the following states to work remotely: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
Minimum qualifications: A master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related discipline, Quality Matters Peer Reviewer Certification. At least three years of progressive, related experience in a higher education environment, experience developing microcredentials for both higher education audiences and the general public
Range: $ 30.76 based on experience.
