The Departments of Physics and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering would like to announce a joint seminar titled “GRAVITY HAS A STORY TO TELL: LISA and the search for low frequency gravitational waves” presented by Dr. Shane Larson. Dr. Larson is a member of the board of the international Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) Consortium and is also the co-chair of the LISA Astrophysics Working Group. Dr. Larson will be discussing the LISA, the first gravitational wave observatory in space, which is expected to be launched in the early 2030’s.

The Coulter School is excited that Dr. Larson will be joining Clarkson in August. We would like to invite the Clarkson Community to learn more about the research and expertise that Dr. Larson will be bringing to Clarkson.
The seminar will be held on Friday April 18 at 3:30 in CAMP 176.
