Murali Ramu, a graduate student working under the supervision of Dr. Jihoon Seo in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University, has been awarded a $1,030 travel grant by the Corrosion Division of The Electrochemical Society (ECS).
This grant will support his participation and research presentation at the 247th ECS Meeting, a premier international conference from May 18–22, 2025, in Montréal, Canada. Murali will deliver an oral presentation titled “Towards a Rational Understanding of Structure-Dependent Efficiency of Organic Corrosion Inhibitors for Cu CMP” in the Corrosion General Session (C01), which gathers leading experts to discuss advances in corrosion science.
He will also present a poster in the Z01 – General Student Poster Session, titled “Sustainable Recycling and Improved Stability of Ceria Slurry with Polyacrylic Acid for Enhanced Glass Polishing Performance.”
