This summer, we invite you to join our Leadership and Management Summer Reading Group. Whether you are a senior academic leader, a middle manager, a staff member, someone thinking about seeking a promotion, or a student curious about what leadership looks like in practice, you are warmly welcome.

Our book for this summer is High Output Management by Andrew S. Grove, former CEO of Intel. First published in 1983, High Output Management remains one of the most practical and insightful guides ever written on leadership, management, and organizational effectiveness. Grove shows how great leadership is less about lofty titles and more about building effective systems, leading teams thoughtfully, and delivering results. His lessons are especially valuable today as organizations of all kinds work to adapt and succeed in complex environments.
High Output Management is available for purchase on Amazon Kindle for $14.
We will meet via Zoom during the first week of fall classes to discuss the book. The session will include breakout groups to foster discussion and exchange ideas. Everyone will have the summer to read at their own pace.
The Reading Group is organized by Professor Ali Kocho-Williams and Professor Stephen Casper. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing in this important conversation about leadership and growth.
