Get ready to grab your paddles and to pickle at our Paddle Cup Tournament, hosted by Clarkson University’s Student Physical Therapy Organization (SPTO). This fun-filled community event is open to the public and welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels.
Whether you are competing or cheering from the sidelines, this outdoor event is sure to be a hit!
Pre-Registration/Registration Details:
- We strongly encourage you to pre-register to guarantee your team’s spot in the event.

- Cash or check: Accepted in person at the event or ahead of time at Clarkson Hall, 2nd Floor PT Department Office (see Mrs. Yette)
- Same-day registration will also be available at the event, but spots are limited—please arrive early to ensure your team can participate!
- Registration Fee: 20$ per team
- Includes a PT-led warm-up session, tournament participation, and refreshments
- Prizes for the top team!
Event Day Details:
- Check-in at the registration table: Between 9:00 am and 9:45 am
- Location: Pickleball Courts at Pine Street Arena (Pine Street Arena, 43 Pine St, Potsdam, NY 13676) – please note, this is an outdoor event!
- There will be no official referees at this event
What to Bring:
Be prepared for a day in the sun! We recommend bringing:
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Bug spray
- Folding chairs for spectators
We’ll be providing water, Gatorade, and snacks to keep everyone fueled and hydrated!
Our Mission:
The SPTO is proud to host this event to promote community wellness, physical activity, and professional development for our students. Proceeds support PT student activities, local outreach, and clinical research initiatives.
