Participate in Child (6-16 years) Voice and Digital Interaction Research at Clarkson University!

Dr. Masudul Imtiaz and his research team are conducting a study on the impact of children’s voice, eye-tracking, and physiological signals when they interact with digital content.

Participants will not receive any financial benefits for their participation.

However, your child’s participation will contribute to advancements in AI-driven child safety, media awareness, and future guidelines for responsible digital experiences.

Your child’s data will be securely stored and identified using a random number—no personal information will be shared or linked to the data.

✔ Study Details:

During the session, your child will read a short script aloud while their voice is recorded, view a series of images through a virtual reality (VR) headset. Each session will last less than 30 minutes, and your child may take breaks or stop at any time.

The study involves no physical risk. All tasks are similar to regular school activities or digital [AA1] games used at home.

We need to exclude the children with diagnosed emotional or mood disorders (such as bipolar disorder or PTSD), a history of seizures or photosensitive epilepsy, or developmental or cognitive conditions that prevent them from understanding or completing the study tasks not be enrolled.
