Returning Students Arriving on Campus – Fall 2025

The Residence Life Office hopes that you are having a wonderful summer! We are reaching out to notify you of information regarding returning to campus this fall. Campus Move-in for returning students will be open on Saturday, August 23rd, after 8 am, OR Sunday, August 24th. Students will not be charged to arrive on the 23rd or 24th and do not need to request early arrival. Students will not be allowed to return earlier than the 23rd without approval from the Residence Life Office. Staff in your residential area will be available to check you in on Saturday, from 8 am to 1 am, and Sunday, 8 am- 11 pm, with the RAs on duty in each area.

Individual students who would like to request early arrival can make their request through CURL and complete the Early Arrival request form. There is a $50 per day fee to arrive early. If you are approved to arrive early and end up not moving in early, you will still be charged.

If you are arriving early as part of an approved university group (Pre-O leader, Ignite Scholar, Varsity Athlete, etc), your coach/advisor must provide the Residence Life Office with a list of students approved to return; you do not need to complete the early arrival form on CURL and will not be charged.

This list can be sent to Emma Blaiklock at eblaiklo@clarkson.edu

Students approved for early arrival should stop by Price Hall on the day they are approved to arrive on campus between 8:00 am-4:30 pm to pick up their room key. After 4:30 pm, approved students should go to Campus Safety and Security in the ERC. Students who are not approved by the Office of Residence Life to be on campus will be subject to fines and disciplinary action.

At this time, our office is incredibly busy and may be slow to respond. Please be patient with our team members. If you are choosing to request early arrival after 8/19, please understand our staff may not get to your request. Students who are not approved by the Office of Residence Life to be on campus will be subject to fines and disciplinary action.

The meal plan will not be available on campus until lunchtime on August 23rd, the day of the First Year Student move-in. There will be limited dining options available until the 23rd.
