The Clarkson University Physician Assistant Program is proud to partner with St. Lawrence Health in support of the Care Cart initiative at Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH).
The Care Cart helps provide patients and their families with comfort items during their stay offering a sense of relief, normalcy, and care in difficult moments. From essentials for unexpected overnight stays to simple items that help pass the time, these donations go a long way in supporting both children and adults receiving care.
We are collecting new, unopened, travel-size comfort and personal care items, including:
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Body wash
- Dry shampoo
- Deodorant
- Hand lotion
- Chapstick
- Nail files
- Hair brushes, ties, clips, and detangler
- Contact lens solution & cases
- Eyeglass readers & eyeglass wipes
- Phone chargers
- Comfortable clothing such as sweatpants
- Shoes
- Activity items like coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, crossword and sudoku puzzles
Donation boxes will be located at:
- The Student Center on Main Campus
- The Clarkson Hall Library
Collection begins Monday, Sept. 8th and will continue until further notice.
We invite all students, faculty, and staff to consider donating to this meaningful cause. Your support will directly impact patients and families receiving care right here in our North Country community.
