Student Achievement Specialist (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The Student Administrative Representative position provides highly integrated case management services to triage, refer, and support student achievement goals. Cross- trained to entry-level knowledge in Student Advising, Student Accounts, Student Records, with strong links to Financial Aid, this position serves as a key link for connecting with subject matter experts within each unit to resolve stakeholder concerns and to educate constituents on pathways to financial clearance and academic achievement. This position floats responsibilities to support related entry-level functional efficiencies in response to the cyclical peak demands of the academic calendar.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience, or High School Diploma with at least ten years’ experience.

Range: $18.00- $22.00 based on experience

Director of Construction and Facilities (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: Lead the University’s facilities division with a forward-planning and team-oriented leadership approach. Serve as an operations-experienced leader and management coach to a dedicated team of facility leads in a division that has responsibility for the operation, maintenance and repair, cleaning, and upkeep of University facilities and grounds. Provide expertise and thought partnership to campus leadership on university capital projects and infrastructure improvements.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance and management of major facilities and campuses with complex administrative systems.

Range: $140,000 – $175,000 based on experience

Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: A successful lacrosse coach at Clarkson University will provide effective leadership in each of the following areas in relation to their sport: recruiting, teaching/coaching, counseling, marketing, alumni relations, fund raising, and sport administration.  It will be necessary to prioritize and balance these activities in a manner that best promotes and advances their sport within all Clarkson University, Liberty League and NCAA rules and regulations. This is a 10-month position.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor Degree. Previous collegiate coaching experience or, success as a head coach at the high school level.

Range: : $50,000- $55,000 based on experience

Adjunct Instructor – Construction Engineering Management (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The Construction Engineering Management (CEM) Program seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach courses supporting graduate as well as undergraduate construction focused classes.  The CEM Program covers a broad range of topics across various fields in the construction industry (see www.clarkson.edu/cem for more information).  Adjunct Instructors will be responsible for delivering existing courses and others that are developed to support the program at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Adjunct Instructors will be asked to teach courses so that they can be taken through digital learning as well as in a traditional classroom. Instructors may also be asked to provide co-curricular support to the program through its many activities.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geography, Geology, Geographic Information Systems, BIM/VDC, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Engineering Management, Building Systems, Building Science, Mechanical Engineering, or an allied/related field.

Range: : $5,500- $6,500 based on experience

Project Manager (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The position is responsible for all administrative and technical matters pertaining to both large-scale maintenance and construction projects at the University. The position also lends support for smaller-scale maintenance projects, typically of a deferred maintenance nature. Acts as a facilitator between in-house customers and AIE firms to ensure a successful project from all aspects, including level of quality, use, adherence to University standards, timing, and budget. The position also serves as the University’s representative during all phases of construction, from overseeing the development of bid documents, bidding, award, construction oversight, and project closeout. The position is highly customer service-oriented, self-motivated, and operates with minimal oversight.

Minimum qualifications:  An Associate’s degree or professional license (General Contractor, Building Inspector) or five years of related experience, or other equivalent combination of education and experience.

Range: : $80,000- $100,000 based on experience

AVP of Workforce and Continuing Education (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The AVP of Workforce and Continuing Education serves as the leader for the university’s noncredit and lifelong learning initiatives with a strong focus on sales, revenue generation, and market growth.  This position is responsible for identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships, and securing partnerships that expand the university’s impact in workforce training, professional development, and continuing education.  The AVP will lead the design, promotion, and scaling of innovative offerings—including micro-credentials, customized training, conferences, seminars, and workshops—delivered in online, hybrid, and in-person formats. Central to the role is building sustainable pipelines of learners and employer partnerships that align with workforce needs and the university’s mission.

Minimum qualifications:  Master’s degree in education, business, public administration, workforce development, or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience in sales, business development, or revenue-focused leadership within workforce or continuing education.

Range: : $100,000- $135,000 based on experience
