The Institute for STEM Education is pleased to announce the Donald C. Clark Travel Grant, providing funding for faculty and staff to attend STEM education-related conferences that take place before May 31, 2026.

Awards, each up to $1,500, will be made on a rolling basis until available funds are exhausted. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, so faculty are encouraged to apply early.
Eligibility
- The conference must take place before May 31, 2026.
- Funds may be used for registration fees, travel, lodging, and per diem expenses, but not for activities such as team dinners and team-building exercises.
Proposal Requirements
Interested applicants must submit, using the form provided below:
- Statement of Intent
- Explain why you wish to attend the conference.
- Describe how attending aligns with your professional development goals with respect to teaching (e.g., research collaboration, pedagogy improvement, dissemination of findings, etc.).
- Budget and Justification
- Provide a budget breakdown, detailing anticipated expenses (e.g., registration, travel, lodging, meals, etc.).
- Include a brief budget justification.
Submission and Review Process
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all funds are awarded.
- Awards will be made based on the clarity of intent, alignment with professional development goals, and budget justification.
