Rochester Regional Health – RRH Helen Snell Cheel Urgent Care, located at 49 Lawrence Ave, Potsdam. Under Article 28, it is classified as an “outpatient facility.”
· What Does This Mean for You when using this facility?
This location will now function more as an after-hours clinic rather than traditional stand-alone urgent care. Urgent care co-pays will not apply. Instead, services will be processed toward your deductible, followed by co-insurance.

What If You Visit RRH Helen Snell Cheel Urgent Care?
If you need to receive care at RRH Helen Snell Cheel Urgent Care (Medical Campus), please note:
- Your visit will be billed as an outpatient service.
- You will be responsible for the deductible, and charges will then be applied to co-insurance.
- Urgent care, specialists, or primary care provider co-pay benefits will not apply.
- Specialists (Pulmonary Medicine, Physical Therapy, Pain Management, Eye Care, Dermatology)
- Primary Care Providers – may be considered outpatient and be applied to your deductible and coinsurance.
- There may be other services offered at this location or other outpatient facilities operated by Rochester Regional Health.
