The Provost’s Office and the Teaching & Learning Corner announces the launch of RISE: Reframing Instruction for Success Everywhere – an online course design and delivery workshop experience for Clarkson educators coming Spring and Summer 2020. Summer cohort starts April 27th!
What is RISE?
RISE is a highly interactive workshop, where faculty build or edit elements of their online course(s) while learning and using research-informed, instructional best practices. Read more about what RISE participants will learn to build for your course.
Workshop module deliverables are expected each week. Working ahead is possible.
Participants can expect individualized feedback during the building of their course through instructor (instructional designers) interaction and peer review.
Why RISE?
Quality of online instruction is paramount to a sustainable future for Clarkson. RISE participants receive the tools needed to skillfully design and deliver your course for this next phase in higher education.
Led by dynamic facilitators who are experts in online learning, RISE is dedicated to making the course design process accessible and enjoyable for higher education at every level of experience and technology fluency.
Summer faculty are strongly urged to participate in this Clarkson provided professional growth opportunity. Workshop completion is requisite for teaching online or blended at Clarkson moving forward. Completion will be recorded in the Peoplesoft HR training record. Certificates of completion will be issued. Contact Provost Hannigan with questions.
Cohorts start:
