Simba Says: Move More

Occupational therapist Tiffany Sha MS’18 wants to encourage kids to put down their devices and get moving. And who better to help her than her dog, Simba the Chow Chow! In a new children’s book that Sha co-authored, Simba leads readers on an indoor adventure that promotes movement and interacting with the environment. READ MORE

Exercise and the Pandemic

Early in the pandemic, stay-at-home orders prompted many people to switch to working remotely. Clarkson Professor Ali Boolani, working with a group of researchers from other universities, was curious how this shift affected the amount of physical activity engaged in by Americans. Congratulations to Hughandra Newbold DPT’22, winner of one of the Anne-Marie Sirois Clinical Education Scholarships from the New York/New Jersey Physical Therapy Clinical Education Consortium!
