COVID-19 Act: Vaccine exemption requests due by 7/15 and vaccine documentation due by August 1

Students,

Now is the time to start collecting your vaccination documentation and/or submit your request for a religious or medical exemption for the fall semester if you have not done so already.  All exemption requests are due by July 15 and vaccine documentation is required by August 1 per earlier communications and the COVID-19 vaccine FAQs.

  • Submitting Vaccine Documentation to MyCU: Students can upload a picture of their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card on myCU after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or after a single-dose vaccine. Upload a picture of the front of the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (with all information visible) here: https://go.clarkson.edu/studentvaccine
  • Submitting Exemption Requests to MyCU:  Students may apply for a religious or medical exemption through the “COVID-19 Vaccine Proof” panel in myCU by visiting: https://go.clarkson.edu/studentvaccine. With the assistance of medical advice and/or legal counsel as needed, a determination of the reasonableness and appropriateness of the requested accommodation will be made.

Vaccine Access:  Public health officials recommend vaccination as the first and best way to ultimately protect our community against COVID-19 and its variants. Participation in the University-wide vaccination policy will further protect and safeguard the health of our campus and greater communities where we have campus operations. Three COVID-19 vaccines – Pfizer-BioNTech (two doses at least three weeks apart), Moderna (two doses at least four weeks apart), and Johnson & Johnson (single dose) – are currently being distributed in the U.S.  This CDC Website provides information on how to find a COVID-19 vaccine near you.
