Mohammad Meysami has been appointed assistant professor of mathematics at Clarkson University.
He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the University of Colorado Denver and his M.S. in applied mathematics from Indiana University South Bend.
Meysami’s research has focused on spatial statistics — more specifically, identifying unusual responses for spatial and spatio-temporal data with environmental and public health applications.
In his recent roles, he served as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Colorado Denver.
He has published in the Biometrical Journal, Universal Journal of Accounting and Finance, and has several articles in submission or under preparation.
