Residential Students,
We hope that the start of your fall semester is going well. As you are aware, Fall Semester Break begins after classes are finished on Friday, October 8th and lasts until October 13th when classes resume. Please see the following information as it pertains to Residence Life and Dining Services.
- The Residence Halls remain open during Fall Semester Break. The Residence Halls are for enrolled Clarkson students, and employees of Clarkson only.
- If you and your roommate plan on vacating for the break please make sure your windows are closed and your room door is locked.
- There will be Residence Life staff members who remain on campus, but it may not be the Resident Advisor on your floor or in your building.
- Please make yourself aware of the RA Office location as it will be staff nightly beginning at 8:00 p.m.
- Campus Safety will operate and will be available for any emergency situations. Campus Safety can be reached at 315-268-6666.
- All University policies and procedures must be followed during the break days.
- Dining Services will NOT be accepting meal swipes during this time, but will be accepting Declining Balance. Please see the dining locations and schedule below.
- Students can add declining balance through their SAS representative by contacting Student Administrative Services at sas@clarkson.edu.
- Please be aware, the University has a Food Pantry located in the Center Core of the Quad. For more information: https://intranet.clarkson.edu/student-life/the-food-pantry/
- The Dean of Students Office has an Emergency Relief Fund for students who may be experiencing food scarcity. Please contact the Dean of Students at deanofstudents@clarkson.edu.
