Final Grade Information?

Final grades will be available in your student center by the end of the day on Monday, December 17th.  Please note that there are many processes that must be run after grades are posted – read on for details:

Academic Standing: Academic Standing is assigned at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters, based on the semester GPA, credits attempted, and prior term standing. You can find your academic standing listed at the very bottom of the “View My Grades” page in your Student Center.  If you are not in Good Standing, please review the rules and regulations to determine how to improve your standing.  [Do note that your academic standing is not the same as your financial aid standing. See Satisfactory Academic Progress for more information on financial aid standing.]

Academic Honors: To be eligible for Academic Honors (Dean’s List and Presidential Scholar), an undergraduate student must be enrolled in a minimum of 14 credits at Clarkson (12 or more for a letter grade), and receive no failing grades. A student is eligible for the Dean’s list in any semester in which they earn a 3.250 or higher GPA.  A student is eligible for the Presidential Scholars list in any semester in which they earn a 3.800 or higher GPA.

Course repeats: If you repeated a course that you previously failed, or earned less than a C, the higher grade will be factored into your cumulative GPA, and the lower grade omitted. All grades remain on the official transcript. The course repeats process is the last process that is run after grades are posted, so you may not see any changes to your record until Tuesday, May 15.
