The English Conversation Corner Program is an eight-week program, sponsored by the Student Success Center, starting on February 15th, 2022, and ending on April 21st, 2022. The program is scheduled from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday. To accommodate the needs of all participants and to better serve our students on the CRC and Beacon campus, we will provide a hybrid program that will allow students to participate both in person and online.
The Program aims to provide students non-native English speaking students with an opportunity to enhance their academic-based English language skills in a comfortable learning environment. The English Corner Program provides a forum for international students and Clarkson students to further their understanding of global and cultural practices through dialog, presentations, and issue-based debates. Accordingly, students will enhance their understanding of, and ability to work with, culturally diverse environments.
Participate and have an opportunity to gain an English Presentation Skills Micro-Credential!!!
