Graduate Student Development – a teaching circle round trip

The Institute for STEM Education, in collaboration with the University Research Advisory Committee (RAC), are hosting a teaching circle “round trip” series over the next several weeks focused on improving development and opportunities for our graduate students in research-based programs of study. The sessions will be facilitated by Doug Bohl, Michelle Crimi, Andrea Ferro, and Simona Liguori.

Roundtable discussion to meet needs and wishes – open to faculty and graduate students

Description: Faculty and students meet together to have a guided conversation about graduate student support, including needs, opportunities, perceptions, priorities, etc.

Reach Everyone, Teach Everyone: Inclusive Design for Meeting the Needs of Today’s Graduates – open to all faculty

Description:  The final session with faculty is to pull out key lessons learned that will help the teams across campus who are working on related initiatives. We will cross-cut carry lessons learned and priorities to these groups.
