Clarkson University Partners with Two Chinese Universities on “3+2” Education Programs

Clarkson University has established “3+2” cooperative bachelor’s/master’s degree programs with Chongqing Jiaotong University and Xiamen University of Technology in China. Participants in the programs will be enrolled in the existing Bachelor of Science degree programs in School of Traffic and Transportation at Chongqing Jiaotong University or the School of Management at Xiamen University of Technology.

The “3+2” programs means that students will complete three years of bachelor degree study at the Chinese partner schools then an additional two years of bachelor/master degree study at the Reh School of Business at Clarkson.

The two Chinese institutions will allow participants of the programs to finish the last year of their bachelor degree study at the Reh School of Business, which is considered as the first year of the “3+2” programs at Clarkson. In the second year, the participants will be admitted to the One-Year MBA program at the Reh School of Business for master degree study.

The new partnership programs will benefit both Clarkson and the Chinese partners by increasing diversity and enriching the overseas study experience of the bachelor degree programs at the partner schools. Clarkson may see the first group of participants of the 3+2 programs in the fall 2019 semester.
