“First Tuesday” –May 3 at Jake’s on the Water
Today, Tuesday, May 3rd marks the last First Tuesday of the 2021-2022 Academic Year for the Potsdam Campus. We are taking this opportunity for a special thanks and acknowledgment of Provost Robyn Hannigan, to recognize her service to Clarkson and give her our best wishes on her appointment as the 19th President of Ursinus College effective July 1, 2022.
Please join us at Jake’s on the Water at 5716 NY 56, Potsdam, NY, for a complimentary beverage and appetizers anytime between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
When announcing Provost Hannigan’s new appointment, President Collins noted, “During challenging times in higher education and our global community, Dr. Hannigan has been a transformative leader and partner creating an impact across the Clarkson community. She has opened doors for new engagement with the Clarkson academic community, strengthened co-curricular programs and complementary learning experiences, and supported a renewal of the faculty governance. Most notably, Dr. Hannigan will likely continue at Ursinus, community-building on the issues that matter to students who want to lead in a world that acknowledges the importance of diversity and inclusion as part of solving the complex problems that confront our world.”
Since coming to Clarkson in 2019, Provost Hannigan has had a tremendous impact on our University and we wish her well with much success in this new leadership role at a private liberal arts college.
There will also be an on-campus coffee hour to recognize Provost Hannigan in the coming weeks. More details to come.
