Winners of nine of its last 10 games, Clarkson Men’s Hockey will look to continue its move towards the top of the ECAC Hockey standings with two key league games this weekend. Playing at home for first time in 20 days and for only the second weekend of league action in Potsdam since November 30-December 1, the Golden Knights host 5th-ranked Quinnipiac and defending conference tournament champion Princeton this Friday and Saturday in a pair of 7:00 p.m. games at Cheel Arena.
Clarkson is in a third-place tie in the ECAC Hockey standings, one point out of first, with an 8-4 league mark. Ranked 10th in the national polls, the Green and Gold are closing in on their second consecutive 20-win campaign with a 17-7 overall record. The Knights are 9-1 at Cheel Arena this season and have outscored the opponents 36-12 in Potsdam.
