Request for Presentation Proposals

Associated Colleges of St. Lawrence Valley is accepting proposals for the upcoming annual Teaching Effectiveness Conference on Nov 10, 2018.  Conference planners seek proposals from people who are thinking outside the box about face-to-face and distance learning. Presentations should highlight examples of technology use to benefit learning.  Desired topics include (not limited to):

• Student engagement
• Attendance in large classes
• Teaching Gen Z’s
• Academic honesty
• Inclusivity
• Group work/collaboration
• Textbook costs
• Visual learning
• Political climate

Faculty, staff and students encouraged to submit.

Selected speakers will present topic in a 5-min lightning round, followed by  20 min informational (or hands on) sessions about your tech tool.

TLC is a participant in this year’s conference, and we are looking to showcase great examples from Clarkson.  We can assist/partner with your proposal.  Contact us for more info.
