Moodle 4.1 Update in 2023

Clarkson’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) announces plans to upgrade Moodle from version 3.11 to 4.1 in the first half of 2023. Read below for ways to learn more and to get involved. Summer 2023 term courses will be the first to experience the new Moodle version. The new version brings significant feature improvements to site navigation, dashboard, activity completion and course editing. As part of the upgrade, course copies from prior terms will remain on Moodle 3.11 and content will be imported individually as needed. Teachers will note this is a variation from previous upgrades. For a smooth transition, additional details and support will accompany each step. It is important that our communities stay informed.
