Abstract: The trick to writing is to remember that you are not writing so much as being read.
Prof. Sajna will offer a few key tools that will help you consider each section of the paper:
- The flow of information at both sentence and paragraph level
- What your readers want to know
- How you can sell your work to the reader
The presentation will include some examples and some active work. Please bring your laptop so you can try a few of the tasks. It will also include discussion with your professors about the problems they see and with all of you on how the Writing Center can help you through your program.
