The search for the Provost started in early September 2018 with approval and posting of the detailed Leadership Prospectus. Next, Haley Associates search firm led the open recruitment period phase from September 2018 to January 2019, resulting in a large, diverse pool of candidates.
Most recently, the committee identified semifinalists, conducted neutral site interviews and selected preeminently qualified final candidates from long serving positions in higher education. Next, finalists will be invited to visit campus between late February and early March to meet with University staff, faculty, students and administrators; dates and times forthcoming. Feedback from candidate visits will be collected and considered by the search committee.
