This course provides a general introduction to the biochemical basis of various cellular functions and their relevance to disease, and a fundamental knowledge that is essential to the study of biochemistry at advanced levels. Biochemistry is integrated with physiology and cell biology. This course is intended for health science / non-science majors, particularly introductory health science students, and will include some chemistry and biology basics.
