The Office of Residence Life would like to extend our thanks to everyone on campus who contributed their gently loved coffee mugs towards our Hot Chocolate Event this past Friday. As students left Clarkson’s Hockey Victory over SLU they were able to select a unique mug and fill it with hot chocolate to take with them.
We received around 70 mugs via donation from the amazing faculty and staff here at Clarkson and every single mug found a new home with a student! There was overwhelming positivity from students about the fact that faculty and staff contributed to this event in this way. This also means there were significantly fewer disposable cups/lids being thrown out and used which was a great collaboration with our Sustainability efforts on campus.
Thank you so much for your collaboration and support of this event. Please know we will be hosting this event again and if you were not able to donate mugs for this round there will be more opportunities if you would like to participate in the future.
