Hello All,

We are delighted to inform you that The Bangladeshi Students Association at Clarkson University (BSACU) and the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) office are collaborating to host the International Mother Language Day at Clarkson for the third time. International Mother Language Day, observed annually on February 21st, serves as a global tribute to linguistic diversity and multilingualism. This day holds particular significance as it commemorates the sacrifices made during the Movement of the Bengali Language in 1952, emphasizing the importance of preserving and celebrating one’s mother tongue.

Recognized by UNESCO in 1999, International Mother Language Day has since been observed worldwide to foster awareness of the richness of languages and promote harmony through multilingualism.

We invite you to join us at the Student Center Forum for an exhibition and various activities, providing a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the rich culture of Bangladesh. The program is open to all, and your presence will contribute to the success of our event.
