Anthony Caraballo, a junior double majoring in Physics and Mathematics, will be interning at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) through the Supplemental Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) for Summer 2024. For this experience, he will be exploring nuclear reactors, the processes that these reactors undergo, and focusing on the physics of antineutrinos.
Anthony is part of Assistant Professor Dhara Trivedi’s research group and investigates capturing mechanism of air contaminants using nanoporous materials. Before that, during spring 2022, Anthony was part of astronomy research group, where he created a Virtual- Physical dual-mode control system for Reynold’s Observatory dome slits. Currently, Anthony is wrapping up his experience as an exchange student at National University of Singapore.
