The University is happy to present our first Clarkson Employee Field Day. All employees and their immediate families are encouraged to join in a day of fun-filled events, laughter, and memories.
The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a friendly employee vs. employee softball game at the baseball field behind the IRC, with President Christensen throwing the first pitch. You can sign up to play on a team (sign up below) or just come to cheer on your co-workers. During the game, our very own stadium ushers will be handing out bottled water, popcorn, and cotton candy.
At noon, on the Cheel Lawn, there will be activities that include bounce houses, a craft & tattoo booth, and a chance to win season hockey tickets and other prizes in the “Spin to Win” booth. Additionally, there will be an assortment of food options served by Sodexo, and music to entertain us during the event.
To cool things off, stop by the Dunk Tank throughout the day and demonstrate your skill by taking your best shot at dunking a fellow employee, this is sure to be a splash!
At 1:00 p.m. there will be an employee vs. employee hockey game in Cheel arena with President Christensen dropping the first puck. You can play on a team (sign up below) or just come to watch what is expected to be an exciting game. During an intermission, T-shirt cannons will be deployed, and photo opportunities will be available with Clarkson University’s very own Golden Knight. Open skate to follow immediately after the game.
