Please welcome Wesley Hissong as Clarkson’s Director of Campus Safety & Security. Wesley has over 25 years of professional experience in campus safety and security. Wesley comes to us from Jefferson Community College where he served as the Director of Safety and Security for the past 15 years. Before taking on that role, he worked in the Safety and Security Office at St. Lawrence University, where he began his career in safety and security. During his time at St. Lawrence University, Wesley served as a Dispatcher, Safety and Security Officer, and then the Assistant Director of Safety and Security.
Wesley holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from SUNY Canton and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from SUNY Potsdam. He is a lifelong resident of the area and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with family.
