Associate Director of Honors (INTERANL ONLY) (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  The Associate Director embraces the Clarkson Honors philosophy, which emphasizes interdisciplinary thinking, experiential learning, research, and communication skills. The Clarkson University Honors Program is comprised of approximately 300 curious and academically engaged students. The Associate Director of Honors oversees the Capstone Project courses and certification process, advises the junior and senior cohort of Honors students, coordinates program assessment, and supports ongoing curricular and co-curricular programming in Honors.

Minimum qualifications   PhD in relevant discipline.

Range: Admin Cap $5,000- $35,000 annually

ERP Programmer Analyst 1 (Remote/Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  Provides application technical support for the development, enhancement, customization and maintenance of Administrative Systems at Clarkson University. Work activities require competency in SQR, SQL scripting, PeopleSoft XML Publisher, PeopleSoft Application Engine, PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleCode programming language, and analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address technical issues. You must reside in one of the following states to work remotely:Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

Minimum qualifications: Associates’ degree in an IT related field or three (3) years of technical experience in application programming. Knowledge and technical proficiency in SQL scripting, interface programming languages, applications, tools and utilities

Range: $60,405.80- $65,000 salary based on experience

Post-Doctoral Researcher (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking one Postdoctoral Researcher. This position will be part of several projects involving the use of on non-thermal plasma to treat PFAS contaminated water. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with other members of the group, as well as effectively interface with external partners.

Minimum qualifications  Ph.D. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related fields. i) Three years’ experience using non-thermal plasma to treat PFAS containing water; ii) Demonstrated experience overseeing research projects, and iii) Demonstrated experience preparing manuscripts and assisting with sponsor required reports.

Range: $55,000 based on experience
