The Amateur Radio Club is hosting operating hours from 3 to 4:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Anyone is welcome to join in and talk on the radio. We operate on the HF radio band and can make communications all over the world. Operating hours are open to all, and no FCC license is required. The club room is in Graham Hall room 007 in the basement, adjacent to the laundry room. Ad Hoc hours may be posted on the door every week.
Amateur Radio is a great hobby for anyone interested in electronics or communication, and entry requires no prior experience or knowledge. The Amateur Radio Club sponsors other events throughout the year, including contests and radio location hunts. The Club will help with licensing and will answer any questions you have related to the field. The Club meets on Saturdays at 4PM in Graham Hall 007.
