This workshop will take place in the Student Center Multipurpose Rooms and will first feature a presentation by Clarkson Professor Erik C. Backus. Dr. Backus will describe how the changing climate will affect the Raquette River and other North Country Waters. This will be followed by a workshop led by the community organizers Blake Lavia and Tzintzun Aguilar-Izzo. They will give an overview of the Rights of Nature movement, and how it can be applied to the Raquette River Watershed.
