Phalanx will be hosting an engaging and interactive event on “Stress Management in Leadership,” focusing on practical techniques and fun activities to help leaders manage stress effectively in the workplace. The event is designed with four activity stations, each highlighting a different stress management strategy:
1. Breathing Techniques: Participants will engage in a game of Connect 4 that involves deliberate breathing exercises. Participants will experience two rounds: one rushed and noisy, followed by a calmer session focused on controlled breathing.
2. Positive vs Negative Coping Methods: This station will offer insights into identifying and differentiating between healthy and unhealthy coping mechanisms for managing stress. Participants will write their personal coping methods and reflect on their current stress management strategies. In the future, participants will use only their positive methods.
3. Time Management: A playful time management game will incorporate juggling to symbolize how leaders can manage multiple tasks at once, underscoring the importance of effective prioritization and focus.
4. Stress Ball Game: Participants will use stress balls in a fun, competitive game where they can either toss or squeeze the balls to relieve tension, making it a dynamic way to explore stress release. Participants will be encouraged to decorate their stress ball with drawings or words of their “happy” place.
Join Phalanx for this unique opportunity to learn, play, and develop valuable stress management techniques tailored to leaders.
