Fitness Classes offered/ CU Athletic Department Promotion

STRENGTH COMBO CLASS – every Tuesday & Thursday from 12:10-12:50pm, 5 weeks 

30” Kettlebell – Every Tuesday 

KB is a unique one-of-a-kind strength-based workout which includes a generous warm-up and yoga-based cool-down, with 30 minutes of fun, yet effective exercises for every fitness level, including gradual progressions; achieving a maximum workout in a short amount of time.

Day/Time: Tuesday, 12:10-12:50am

Total Body Strength (Intermediate Level) – Every Thursday

Intermediates are the next level up from beginners. If you have been weight training consistently with guided instruction for the last 6 months or more, then you most likely qualify as an intermediate trainee. Exercises will include a mix of compound and isolation exercises for increased strength, balance, and mobility.

Day/Time: Thursday, 12:10-12:50pm

Start date: Tuesday, November 19th, location is back room of Deneka Fitness Center

Cost: $60

FLEX-CORE CLASS every Wednesday from 12:10-12:40pm, 5 weeks 

Flex-core is a new 30- minute class which focuses on developing stabilizer muscles within the core. The flexibility training will help you move more freely throughout your day with particular attention to opening up the hips and in addition to releasing tension within the neck and shoulders.

Start date: Wednesday, November 20, location is the back room of Deneka Fitness Center

End Date: Wednesday, December 18

Cost: $30
