Please be advised that on Wednesday, Aug. 27, Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad will be conducting training in The Clarkson Woods, also known as “The Back 40”, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Potsdam Rescue will run a trauma scenario that will require some medical treatment of two or three mock patients and then movement of the patients from the woods to ambulances. There will be two ambulances and a fly car staged in the parking lot past the water tower. The site of the drill will be just inside the woods before the trail split near the staging area for the ambulances. CUEMS will also be on scene.
The trails will remain open during the drill. Trail users are free to observe if they wish but are asked to allow first responders ample space to conduct their drill.
If you have any questions, please email Professor and Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad Organizer Doug Bohl at dbohl@clarkson.edu.
