Learn About NSF I-Corps & Other Free Startup Support Services at the Shipley Center

Join us for an info session about the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (NSF I-Corps) Program and other free startup support services offered by Clarkson’s Shipley Center for Innovation. 

This hybrid info session will be held on Tuesday, September 23 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM in CAMP 163 or via Zoom.


About NSF I-Corps
The National Science Foundation Innovation-Corps program is a nationally recognized program that helps innovators explore the commercial potential of their research and business ideas. Participants gain hands-on experience in customer discovery, guided by expert instructors. Through the program, you will:

  • Test the market potential of your idea by interviewing potential customers.
  • Receive funding to support your customer discovery research (e.g., conference travel, market database access).
  • Strengthen your resume by completing a highly regarded program in STEM and business fields.
  • Improve your chances of securing state or federal research and business development grants (e.g., SBIR/STTR grants).
  • Access up to $50K in funding if selected for the national I-Corps program (STEM focus required).
