The new NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) solicitation (NSF 25-547) has been released.

The GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and STEM education fields. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents.

  • November 10, 2025 – Life Sciences
  • November 12, 2025 – Computer and Information Science & Engineering; Materials Research; Psychology; Social, Behavioral & Economic Sciences; STEM Education and Learning
  • November 13, 2025 – Engineering
  • November 14, 2025 – Chemistry; Geosciences; Mathematical Sciences; Physics & Astronomy

📝 Advising & Intake Form

Students interested in applying for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship or other nationally competitive awards should complete the brief Honors and Fellowships Intake Form to receive tailored advising and access to the Virtual Office (Moodle Page).The Virtual Office serves as a hub for all Clarkson students, undergraduate and graduate, seeking support for prestigious awards, research opportunities, service programs, and graduate funding.Inside, you’ll find curated resources, timelines, templates, and program-specific guidance for fellowships such as Fulbright, Goldwater, Gilman, and NSF GRFP. Anyone at Clarkson may request access to the Virtual Office.
